Thus, a low cost remote maintenance solution with several Ethernet compatible components can quite simply be set up. You can connect up to four network devices to the integrated switch, e. g. controllers or HMI systems. Thereby, a firewall blocks unauthorized accesses to the network. Furthermore, by supporting OpenVPN an encrypted and secure connection is set up via the insecure internet.
