ACCON-AGLink S7-SymbolikPro is a program library for using symbol definitions from S7 projects in self made programs. So it is the perfect complement for the communication library ACCON-AGLink.

ACCON-AGLink S7-SymbolikPro is a tool for the development of programs which read or write data from S7 PLCs e.g. process visualisations. Using the ACCON-AGLink S7-SymbolikPro the ease of use and the functional range of these programs can be extended. E.g. with a list of all symbols used in S7 projects instead of a direct user input or by checking and formatting user inputs.

Varied ranges of application
A visualization offers data points under the same name as they have been used in the S7 program. In a logging software for S7 controllers the variable names of data modules are indicated there instead of incomprehensible absolute indications. So working in the most different scopes of application is considerably easier.

Your advantage
The use of the symbolic names of S7 projects in your own application has essential advantages: on the one hand a double data management will be prevented since the names are used which are already present in the symbol table. On the other hand your own application will become more flexible because changes of the absolute addressing of operands do not automatically require a program change.

Convincing and varied
An example for the functional range is a list of the symbols in the symbol chart and a list of variables of data modules of a S7 program. ACCON-AGLink S7-SymbolikPro can convert address indications of variables into the symbolic form e.g. the symbol »Door contact« is identified for »M10.0«. Subsequently the determined symbols can be processed with the communication library ACCON-AGLink.
