Using Raspberry Pi for PLC access
Reading data from a controller or writing data to a controller is relatively easy with normal computers and common operating systems. However, support for the small single-board computers is rather rare. At DELTA LOGIC you can now purchase a developer license for Raspberry Pi for individual communication between PC and PLC.
The available modules for developer licenses are:
- S7-PB for communication via Profibus
- S7-TCP/IP for data exchange via TCP/IP and classic access
- S7-TCP/IP TIA in combination with S7-SymbolikPro TIA for symbolic access via TCP/IP
For developer licenses, there is also a maintenance contract for all modules, which includes premium support and software update service (SUS). This means that you receive all new updates during the term of the maintenance contract. A maintenance contract is mandatory for the TIA modules.
Add Linux to your Raspberry Pi license at low cost
For a small additional fee, you can extend the modules of your Raspberry Pi developer license with the corresponding modules for standard Linux. You can also upgrade your existing Linux developer license to a Raspberry Pi license if required. Are you interested in one of these options? Full range of functions: All available modules in a single license
New since version 6.0.1.0 of ACCON-AGLink is the new single license Pro for Windows. This includes all modules available for standard Windows. This means that the following three single licenses are now available for Windows:
- Single license Classic: contains all modules except SINUMERIK AddOn, S5-ISO (H1), TIA modules.
- Single license TIA: includes all Classic modules, as well as the TIA modules. The SINUMERIK AddOn and S5-ISO (H1) modules are not included.
- Single license Pro: contains all modules available for the operating system
