Setting up and wiring classic real laboratory models requires a lot of time and training before the actual programming and operation of the model can begin. With the realistic ProMod-Pro plant simulator, all this effort is eliminated. This means that the actual work with the PLC can be learned without a great deal of manual preparation. The new version 10.0 is now available in our online shop.

System models and advantages of ProMod-Pro

ProMod-Pro is only availablle in German and offers over 60 different ready-made plant models. This allows students to learn PLC programming directly on a wide range of applications. The realistic models come from the fields of drive technology, hydraulics, conveyor technology, process technology and control technology. The models can be operated and observed within the software. Different levels of difficulty enable step-by-step learning of programming, functional testing, workflow automation and troubleshooting. This eliminates the need for a complex hardware test setup.

Supported operating systems and PLCs

The new version 10.0 of ProMod-Pro supports both Windows and Windows Server operating systems. The software can be used under Windows 10 and 11, as well as Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022. Working with TIA Portal is also possible. The supported PLCs offer a wide range of different PLCs for use in conjunction with ProMod-Pro. This is possible with the following controllers:

ACCON-MPI-Adapter RS-232

A S7 adapter for direct access The ACCON-MPI-Adapter allows the connection of a PC via its serial interface to the MPI interface of a S7 PLC. If you prefer to use the Ethernet interface instead of the serial interface of your PC, you can thereby use a higher transmission speed. For this we recommend the ACCON-NetLink-PRO compact.
