ACCON-EasyLog continues easy operation known by his predecessor product ACCON-S7-EasyLog and brings along not only a modern design but also new possibilities. Thus ACCON EasyLog is ideally suited to quickly and easily read and save data from the PLC. This is possible either time-controlled or event-driven.
ACCON-EasyLog has a modular design and offers you the possibility to choose between different input and output sources - exactly adapted to your situation.
Convincing and multifaceted
ACCON-EasyLog can read in the data from Siemens controllers with or without TIA as well as from SIMATIC controllers. For S7-200, S7-1200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, LOGO! 0BA7 and LOGO! 0BA8 all common communication channels are supported. ACCON-EasyLog supports the S7-1200/S7-1500 also with optimized block access and masters the import of symbols directly from the TIA Portal of versions 12 to 19.
For the output you have the choice to save your data in CSV format, in an SQL database or to send them to the Arburg host computer system (ALS) for archiving. MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB and Oracle Database are supported. Data stored in CSV format can be processed in many ways, including direct use in Excel.
Currently read out process data is directly displayed in ACCON EasyLog. In order to be able to detect deviations faster, ACCON EasyLog offers a graphical representation of the data. Thus you can recognize trends faster and react immediately.
Perfect fields of application
ACCON EasyLog enables the (mandatory) archiving of process data for quality assurance and control. The use in international teams or locations is best supported by the currently available languages German and English.
Recording and logging of various data and formats, e.g. of plant shutdowns for the documentation of downtimes of operating processes such as the recording of temperatures of a cold store or filling levels in silos or tanks.

When the company installed a new assembly line for seat belt buckles at its site in Alfdorf (Germany), the challenge was to read around 4,000 variables from the control system and integrate them into the higher-level MES. Is it possible to change date and time format of the CSV entries?
Yes, the format can be customized. In your configuration you can set the default date format as well as the default time format. To do so, activate the advanced settings at the bottom of the dialog (check the "Show advanced settings" box). The configuration can then be made in the Basic Configuration tab.
What can be the reason for the error message "Error creating directory 'Y: / Myfolder'"?
When using ACCON-EasyLog as a service, it may happen that the user "system" knows the drive under the direct path only, e.g. \\My drive\My Folder
Does ACCON EasyLog save error logs and log files? If so, where?
Yes, the logs can be found under C:\Users\Public\Documents\DELTALOGIC\ACCON-EasyLog\Logs.
What has to be considered when accessing a LOGO! controller?
With a LOGO! it is not possible to import the S7 project. You must enter the operand address manually. Reading and logging data from a LOGO! is also possible with the demo version. Special instructions for LOGO! (0BA7 and 0BA8) controllers can be found in the application notes for download (only available in German at the moment).
Can ACCON-EasyLog be used as a Windows service?
Yes, you can install the service when running the setup. Further information can be found in the ACCON EasyLog manual (included in the setup download).

How can I graphically display variables and values in ACCON EasyLog?
With the module OUT Graphic the history of the recorded data can be displayed (max. 10,000 data sets). For this purpose open the log view by double-clicking on the corresponding configuration line and select an element, e.g. a csv file, under "Available destinations".
How can I install an old license of ACCON EasyLog on a 64-bit computer?
You can install ACCON-EasyLog via the compatibility mode.
Can the graphic module access the data of an SQL database?
No, the graphic module cannot read the data of an SQL database. The graphic module displays data from the ACCON EasyLog internal history table (the last 10,000 recorded data).
