News about the old-established S5 PLCs |
|
A great many S5 PLCs are still in use and will partly go on serving for an extensive period. Only the then notebooks and programming devices are not as durable as the PLCs. In order that the substitution with the most modern PCs can be effected without any problems, we offer you a range of products. Concerning connection cables you can choose from solutions for almost every PC interface (V24, USB, Ethernet). As ideal supplementation, we recommend the S5 programming software ACCON-PG. With it, you reliably program the S5 even on multicore processor systems, you directly use the original S5D file format and you can simply make use of the extended display options in LAD and CSF. New version of the S7/S5-OPC-Server available |
|
The DELTALOGIC S7/S5-OPC-Server provides process data of a Siemens PLC (S7-200, S7-300, S7-400 and S5) via the standardized OPC interface. Thus, each OPC client is able to read and write values from such a PLC. Beside the improved performance and the support of Windows Vista and Server 2008, the new version of the S7/S5-OPC-Server contains the possibility to import symbolic information. Therefore, the S7 project is not necessary anymore for runtime. Read more about the further highlights of the new version here. |
