ACCON OPC UA Server now supports Secure Communication

The new version of the powerful software ACCON OPC UA Server is released. The server for industrial communication offers some new features in the current version. Among other things, it supports a new protocol with which Siemens has closed a security gap in the SIMATIC family.

ACCON OPC UA Server now supports Secure Communication

The high-performance ACCON OPC UA Server has now been released in version 1.2. In this version, besides the support of the latest TIA Portal and firmware versions, the possibility for secure exchange via Secure PG/PC and HMI communication has been integrated. A new feature is the ability to address the SINUMERIK ONE and Create MyVirtual Machine machine tool controllers. Thus, the range of supported machine tool controllers has been extended once again. In the previous version, communication with SINUMERIK 840D sl, 840D pl and 810D pl has been possible already.

The most important new features of the ACCON OPC UA Server are the support of:

TIA Portal V18
Firmware V2.9.x and 3.0.x for S7-1500 PLCs as well as 4.5 and 4.6 for the S7-1200 respectively
Secure PG/PC and HMI communication (Secure Communication)
SINUMERIK ONE, Create MyVirtual Machine
