Two housing widths, various basic versions and a range of additional modules, so-called MRXcards, are available for this purpose. Thanks to these diverse options, you are highly flexible both in terms of acquisition and in terms of any adaptations that may be required at a later date.The integrated firewall and VPN functionality also allow secure remote maintenance of your end devices. The two housing widths Two housing widths are available for the MRX series MRX3: Here you have 3 slots at your disposal, two of which are defined by the selected base variant. In the third slot you can insert any other module (MRXcard) MRX5: Here you have 5 slots at your disposal, two of which are defined by the respective selected basic variant. Any other modules (MRXcard) can be inserted into the other three slots. The four basic variants The MRX series is available in four basic variants, each with different basic equipment. The basic variant MRX LAN consists of an Ethernet module with five LAN ports, as well as a power module for power supply and with 2 digital inputs. The five LAN ports can be divided into up to five IP networks. The basic variant MRX LTE consists of an Ethernet module with five LAN ports, as well as a LTE module with integrated power supply and 2 digital inputs. The five LAN ports can be divided into up to five IP networks. The world variant supports a greater variety of cellular frequencies.The basic variant MRX Fiber consists of an Ethernet module with five LAN ports, as well as a SFP/Fiber module with integrated power supply and 2 digital inputs. The five LAN ports can be divided into up to five IP networks. The basic variant MRX DSL consists of an Ethernet module with five LAN ports, as well as a DSL module with integrated power supply and 2 digital inputs. The five LAN ports can be divided into up to five IP networks. MRX-DSL is available for DSL-Annex A and for DSL-Annex B. Note: ADSL connections in Germany are usually operated in the Annex B variant. You can obtain precise information on the Vairante used (Annex A or Annex B) from your provider of the connection. This applies especially to connections outside Germany. Various expansion options If the possibilities of the respective basic modules are not sufficient for you, you can extend your MRX at any time by different further modules, so-called MRXcards. Convincing and versatile To ensure that a secure VPN connection can be used effectively, we offer you a convenient VPN portal. With the DELTA LOGIC Connectivity Service, you can create VPNs of any complexity and access the end devices via direct routing.You don't want to set up your router for our DELTA LOGIC Connectivity Service yourself? The icom Data Suite turns your router based on the IoT operating system icom OS into a powerful IoT gateway. You'll get a comprehensive, flexible and scalable software package for connecting and processing data points. Extend the functionality for reliable and secure data transmission by data acquisition, monitoring and control options for your application. Process your data directly on the Smart Device. Transmit them via SMS, e-mail, MQTT or HTTP to customer-individual infrastructures, SCADA and ERP systems or directly to cloud services. Visualise current values directly on the Smart Device or use processing options like logging, reporting and many more in the cloud. Control your application directly via SMS, from cloud platforms or from SCADA systems. Besides our direct cloud connectors (Cumulocity/Telekom Cloud of Things), the protocols MQTT, IEC 60870-5-104/-101* and OPC UA* are also available. icom Data Suie - Package 2 Flexible contains all modules from icom Data Suite - Package 1 Essential. Additionally included are the modules Siemens S7, IEC 60870-5-101 Master, CODESYS, OPC UA Client and data logger. OPC UA client | OPC UA server connection: Cyclical call-off or subscription possible. VPN service for secure access to your systems and applications DELTA LOGIC Connectivity Service gives you the ability to set up and manage your own VPN. Just a few clicks and you can integrate the equipment relevant to you, e.g. PCs, routers and locally connected network devices (e.g. PLCs or HMIs). As a result, you can customize the VPN to your needs with minimal effort and maximize the efficiency of your remote maintenance. Perfect fields of application The DELTA LOGIC Connectivity Service is ideally suited to setting up and administering VPNs of almost any size and complexity - with the highest possible security. Every client must pass certificate-based authentication (X.509) before being allowed to establish the encrypted connection to the portal. These certificates can be automatically renewed at regular intervals. Even within the VPN, you can increase security through access controls. Assigning subscriber units to different groups clearly defines which device can communicate with which remote station. The integrated firewall means it’s also possible to restrict this data traffic even more specifically (based on IP addresses, ports and protocols). In addition, this VPN portal offers the possibility of internal monitoring. Here, the connection to the VPN clients or end devices is checked at regular intervals. In the event of a break in the connection, you can be notified directly via e-mail.
