Communication Adapters for S5 PLCs

The S5 controllers from Siemens have usually been in use for a long time. Nevertheless, they are not replaced in many plants - because they simply still work wonderfully. However, Industry 4.0 and IoT bring some new requirements. Production data should be constantly controllable, monitored for consistent quality, to increase cost efficiency or to save energy consumption.

Regardless of the reason why you need the data from your S5 PLC or if you want to program your controller comfortably from the PC, direct access for PC-PLC communication with an S5 is not possible without the right adapter.
