A S7 adapter for direct access
The ACCON-MPI-Adapter allows the connection of a PC via its serial interface to the MPI interface of a S7 PLC. If you prefer to use the Ethernet interface instead of the serial interface of your PC, you can thereby use a higher transmission speed. Note:
Starting with STEP 7 version 5.5 SP2, Siemens no longer supports serial COM ports under Windows 7 64-bit. The Siemens TIA Portal also no longer supports any COM ports - regardless of which operating system it is installed on! We will be happy to advise you about alternatives.

Can the functionality of an ACCON-MPI-Adapter RS-232 be tested with the ACCONfigurator?
There is an "available participants" feature in the toolbar. This function can be used to display the reachable participants.
On the adapter, the polarity for the external power supply is no longer legible. How can I determine it instead?
