ACCON-S7-Backup is a comfortable and easy-to-use software for backup and restore of S7 programs. The installation of ACCON-S7-Backup is done within a few seconds.ACCON-S7-Backup uses S7 projects of the SIMATIC Manager directly and without conversion, so that existing projects can easily be used immediately. For communication with the S7 controller you can choose between a variety of communication paths. ACCON-S7-Backup supports PROFIBUS, MPI and TCP/IP.

Does ACCON-S7-Backup also support S7-1200/1500 controllers?
No, only S7-300/400 controllers are supported.

How do I connect to password protected CPUs?
For this case exists the command line parameter "Password:"
The parameter designates the password for access to the PLC. If the password contains special characters, such as comma, minus sign, space, etc., it must be enclosed in quotation marks. The password must not be longer than 8 characters (S7 system default). This parameter is allowed for "Cmd:Backup" and "Cmd:Restore" and may only be specified once.
Some command line parameters do not work. Why?
Windows 7 does not pass the parameters from the command line if you have the shortcut on the desktop or want to start it from there. If you move the link with an appropriately modified command line directly into the startup folder and start the link from there, everything runs as usual.
